ClearVue Brings Solar Skylights to Africa

Key Figures & Findings: ClearVue Technologies, an Australian smart building materials company, has secured its first commercial order in Africa by supplying 100 photovoltaic skylights for the World Bank's new campus administration building in Abuja, Nigeria. The $100,000 deal, facilitated by Dubai-based Venco Imtiaz Construction Company (VICC), marks a significant milestone for ClearVue's expansion into emerging markets. CEO Martin Deil emphasized the strategic importance of this project, stating that it showcases the versatility of ClearVue's products to generate energy from almost any external surface. Statistics & Insights: The installed skylights are expected to generate approximately 37,800 kilowatt-hours of clean energy annually, offsetting up to 22.4 tonnes of carbon emissions each year.
