Egypt Reinvigorates Zafarana Wind Farms
Key Figures & Findings: Voltalia, a French renewable energy company, and Egypt’s TAQA Arabia have signed an MOU with Egypt’s Ministry of Electricity to modernize the Zafarana wind farms, a landmark renewable energy project in the MENA region. The agreement was signed in Cairo, highlighting Egypt’s commitment to sustainable energy development. Voltalia brings its expertise from operating hybrid projects globally, while TAQA Arabia focuses on advancing green energy initiatives in line with Egypt’s national sustainability goals.
