BasiGo, a Nairobi-based electric vehicle technology and financing company, specializes in bringing electric buses to sub-Saharan Africa. Since launching in early 2022, BasiGo has deployed over 30 electric buses in Kenya and Rwanda, offering a sustainable transport solution for city bus operators. At a recent event, BasiGo flagged off a new fleet of Tata Ultra electric buses, highlighting the company’s commitment to making Kenya's public transport sector emission-free.
