EliTe Solar Launches Major Egypt Project

EliTe Solar, a prominent global provider of photovoltaic modules and intelligent energy solutions headquartered in Singapore.has officially launched its ambitious 5GW solar manufacturing project within the Egypt TEDA Suez Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone. The state-of-the-art facility, spanning 78,000 square meters, will house 2GW solar cell and 3GW solar module production lines and is set to commence operations in September 2025.  Speaking at the groundbreaking event, Mr. Waleid Gamal Eldien, Chairman of the Suez Canal Economic Zone, highlighted the project's potential to elevate Egypt's solar manufacturing capabilities, optimize local supply chains, and bolster its standing in the global renewable energy market.

Statistics & Insights:
The facility will produce 500 million kWh annually, saving 307 million tons of standard coal and offsetting carbon emissions equivalent to planting 84 million trees. The project aligns with Egypt's 2030 renewable energy goal of achieving 42% clean energy generation.
