Key Figures & Findings: Acwa Power, a company that specializes in sustainable energy solutions, and is well-regarded for its renewable projects, has partnered with Gotion Power Morocco part of China’s Gotion High-Tech, specializing in EV battery and energy storage production, to establish a $800 million wind power plant in Kenitra, Morocco. This wind project is designed to support Gotion’s upcoming electric vehicle (EV) battery gigafactory, marking an essential step in Morocco’s push to become a regional EV battery production hub, and an essential phase in Morocco’s clean energy drive.
