Sumitomo, IRSC Partner for Solar in Egypt

IRSC, a leading renewable energy firm, has signed an agreement with Sumitomo Electric Wiring Systems Egypt  a global manufacturer of automotive electrical systems, to design, supply, and install 3.2MW of solar PV power plants on the rooftops of Sumitomo’s industrial facilities. The project aims to enhance energy efficiency and is expected to generate 4.9GWh annually.

The initiative is expected to generate 4.9GWh annually, cutting CO₂ emissions by 52,700 tons per year.C onstruction is set for completion by Q2 2025, helping Sumitomo reduce grid dependency and enhance energy efficiency in its manufacturing processes.
