Vestas Secures EMEA Wind Projects

Key Figures & Findings: Vestas a Danish manufacturer and service provider of wind turbines, that operates globally, focusing on the design, manufacturing, installation, and servicing of wind energy solutions, has secured three major orders in Q4, totaling 180 MW of wind power capacity across South Africa and France. The South African project, featuring 21 V150-4.5 MW turbines, will deliver 95 MW of renewable energy by 2026 and includes a 20-year AOM 5000 Service Agreement. Meanwhile, two French projects will supply 55 MW and 31 MW, utilizing V136-4.2 MW, V126-3.45 MW, and V150-4.2 MW turbines, supported by long-term service partnerships. These deals underscore Vestas’ commitment to wind energy solutions worldwide.
Statistics & Insights: Delivery of the South African project is scheduled for the first half of 2026, with commissioning in the latter half. In France, the 55 MW order will be delivered by Q2 2025 and commissioned in Q4, while the 31 MW project will be completed by mid-2026.
